Display FortiGate pages in PRTG Map?

Hi,

I was wondering if it's at all possible to display certain http pages from a FortiGate inside a PRTG map?

I've tried embedding the http link via an iframe, but this doesn't work (blocked by content security policy), and when the CSP is disabled, it reports:

The webpage at https://xxx might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Can you advise if it's possible to display pages, and if so, what is the best way of doing this please?

Hi Dave,

Yes it's possible to displays another webpage in PRTG maps via iframe
If this does not work, please check the security options if it's allowed to implement to website.

Thanks for your reply Moritz. The second link you supplied, security options, gives information on how to block other web pages from accessing PRTG in an iframe (How can I prevent other pages from loading PRTG in a frame?). I've got an issue where I'm trying to access a FortiGate webpage from within a PRTG map. Do you think it is the FortiGate which is preventing this access? I can't see much on the Internet around this issue.

Hi Dave,

According the the error message the target webpage blocks the connection. Did you tried to access the webpage from the PRTG Core Server to validate whether the webpage is reachable from there.

Hi Dave,

Did you also checked whether the http response code is always 200 (ok)? This can be done via the developer tools in your browser.

So I can get the login page up, and I enter the login credentials. A 200 OK response is reported for the login, but the screen remains blank? I'm using IE on a Win 2016 server.

Hi Dave,

At this point, I recommend to move the troubleshooting to our email support. Please send screenshots of the effected Sensor and the web browser response to "[email protected]". Please mention the ticket number PAE1328727 in the subject.
