Packet Sniffer Sensor

i try to install packet sniffer sensor to my local probe but the network adapters are not available

no-network-adapters-available packet-sniffer prtg

Dear pantelip,

in that case, please check what happens when you create the Windows Network Card sensor on the same device. Do you see adapters to pick, or is there nothing listed as well?

Dear pantelip,

you can find a list of supported filters here

For the protocols you can use the names TCP, UDP, ICMP and OSPF. For any other protocol type you have to use the protocol number.

You can export the received data only as a csv file by setting the option "Log Stream Data to Disk (for Debugging)". An export to pcap-format is currently not possible.
