Hi all,

short time ago i installed PRTG 20.1.57.1745+ on a server.

Now i check the server and PRTG web service seems to have moved itself somehow from port 80 to 8080 ..?

Does this ring any bell to anyone? The administrator tool says it's running on port 80.

8080 http prtg

Hello there,

Thank you for your post.

This happens when the set port is occupied by another program, so PRTG has to use one of his fallback ports (please see: Which ports does PRTG use on my system).
In order for PRTG to use the set port you will need to check what program is using the port, and close it in order for it to be available again.

Kind regards,
