Microsoft Teams is not summarizing notifications

Votes:

0

Hi there,

Long time reader, first-time poster.

I can't quite get notification summaries working with Microsoft teams.

Here's what the library notification trigger and template are set to: https://ibb.co/09pgCkS https://ibb.co/fC9sZXF

Does Microsoft teams actually support summarized notifications? If it does what have I done wrong here?

We're getting too much spam in the Teams channel that the notifications go to.

Hi,

I'm afraid summarized notifications are indeed not working using Microsoft Teams. Messages to Microsoft Teams will always be send out immediately. (Also See: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/notifications_settings; section "NOTIFICATION SUMMARIZATION")

Thanks for pointing this out. Are there any plans to provide this functionality in the future or is this not possible with the way PRTG pushes out transmissions?

Actually, is it possible for us to configure this functionality via a custom webhook?

It's currently not possible at all I'm afraid. There are no plans to change the way PRTG is sending these notifications, also there are currently no known workarounds (using a custom webhook).
