Local Storage of Data Files and Monitoring Database

Hi,

recently we moved the (Local data file storage and monitoring database) and also (Path to probe data storage) from disk C: to disk D:

As our PRTG is located on a virtual server, disk C: \ is a virtual disk and disk D: \ is another virtual disk.

If I restore only the D: disk from our backup and replace it with the current disk from our virtual server and keep the C: \ disk where is the operating system with the installation registration references, PRTG should work correctly right?

What I really need to know is ...

When I define that (Local storage of data files and monitoring database) and also (Path for storage of probe data) on disk D :, does PRTG still use any files present on disk C: \?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can change the data directory path to a desired disk.
Please note that won't work correctly because of missing data.
You'll find more information here.
