Sensor Configuration - Inquiry

Hi PRTG,

We noticed that some of our ping sensors have the following properties: 1. Downtime 2. Ping time 3. Maximum 4. Minimum 5. Packet loss

Whereas some of our ping sensors only have the following properties: 1. Downtime 2. Packet loss

I believe it has something to do with the version of the PRTG when the sensor was created? Kindly correct me if I'm wrong. Is it possible to configure our current sensors to have the 5 properties of the ping sensors without recreating the sensor? This is to avoid deletion of the sensor's previous data.

Regards, Gab

Hi,

You need to create the affected sensors again as it is not possible to change the desired setting. Furthermore, you can keep the data of the affected by pausing the sensors and not deleting them.
