Is it possible to request a functionality to be added to PRTG here? I learned through another inquiry that when using SNMP sensors and the SNMP Tester tool that PRTG does not support the use of hexadecimal number formats. Since I was trying to query the OID for 'ifPhysicalAddress', the fact that hexadecimal isn't supported is a severe limitation. Because resolution of network to physical addresses is a pretty fundamental function, it seems that this should be available in any network management software.

for feature requests, I recommend to use the [[https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/79245-how-can-i-propose-new-features-or-sensors-for-prtg with the provided template|official format]] .
Regarding support of hexadecimal data, please don't expect such features in the foreseeable future. We see some applications for that, mostly for MAC addresses like in your case, but other features are in much higher demand and therefore having the higher priority.
