Good day -

Is it possible to download Response Index data via the API?

Are you able to post a Response Time Index chart on a map?

Thanks.

Dear phoffswell,

PRTG can show only sensor channel data on maps. Please clarify, what do you mean with Response Index data and Response Time Index? Do you mean how quick a PRTG alert got acted upon? Such data cannot be downloaded or shown in maps.

The Response Time Index is defined here: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/313-how-does-prtg-compute-cpu-index-traffic-index-and-response-time-index I am looking to access this data directly via the API.

Dear phoffswell,

that data cannot be read as device property. The workaround would be to create an URL as that page would be opened in the interface, and then to parse out the respective values from the HTML.

I am looking to export traffic index data to our KPI system.

Is it possible to access the raw data of a response time index report in either a download or a monthly report?

Hello,

you cannot export device-based index data from PRTG, but you can export historic sensor data using PRTG's API.
