recommended process to perform a prtg reset (gray sensors after restart plattform prtg)

Hello everyone. A query. One of the recommendations for prtg maintenance is disk defragmentation and monthly restart. What is the recommended process to perform this reset? We have a 5250 sensor prtg cluster. After the restarts, it behaves somewhat unstable, marking the sensors in an unknown state (gray) on many occasions. Also, is it mandatory to perform a cache recalculation each time this reset is performed? Thank you very much for your answers.

Atilano,

How many of those sensors are off your cluster probe? Do you have any remote probes connected to this cluster?

Hello Benjamin. all sensors at least 2 times a day change from their normal state to gray. On our platform we have two but small probes. Most of the sensors are located on the main probe (approximately 4000 sensors)

Atilano,

We currently only support PRTG versions released within the last calendar year. You will need to upgrade to version 19.3.51 or later.
