Addition of 500 sensors to existing installation

Hi,

Can we add additionally bought 500 sensors into an already existing installation of 2500 sensors? If yes, what is the procedure to do so? Also, when purchasing sensors with maintenance licence, what happens to the previously bought sensors maintenance expiry date? Does their expiry date extend or remain the same?

Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

Since we try to keep our licensing model as simple as possible, we do not offer any individual amount of sensors, or the combination of multiple licenses within one installation. If you need more than 2500 sensors, PRTG 5000 is the next step you can go for.

When upgrading to a higher edition of PRTG the current license will be fully replaced by the upgraded license as soon as the purchase has been processed, by just paying the price difference. The new license will come with 12 months maintenance included starting with the purchase date. Also note that a compensation discount for the remaining maintenance contract on your PRTG 2500 license will be included in our offer.
