Library Tag Inheritance

Votes:

0

Hi all,

in our setup we want to use libraries as the base for our mail notification.
For this I've created a library tree with several groups for different star settings like this

Library
- Group 1
- - Node 1
- - Node 2
- - Node 3

- Group 2
- - Node 1
- - Node 2
- - Node 3

- Group 3
- - Node 1
- - Node 2
- - Node 3

I've assigned a tag to Group 1 called "Tag_Star_1", same for 2 and 3.
However, the sensors filtered by the nodes don't get these tags assigned.
Is there a reason why?

We're currently using the version 20.2.59.1689+ and in our way smaller test environment running version 20.1.56.1547 it worked if I remember correctly.

Hello there,

I'm afraid, tags that are applied for a library group are no inherited to the below sensors. If you want to define tags, you need to define them in the device tree or with other filtering to call the sensors directly. In a library node you can then filter for those.

Kind regards,
