Monitoring Ubuntu Hardware - quick start

I have got PRTG configured for monitoring Windows servers but can't get anything to work on Ubuntu server other than ping and DNS.

Is there a quick start guide or something I can look at to monitor the CPU, memory and hard drive of them?

All assistance greatly appreciated.

for PRTG 7, please see How do I monitor system parameters like memory, CPU and disks on Linux systems via SNMP?

For the coming PRTG 8, you can have a look at Which Linux or Mac OS distributions are supported by the Linux/Unix sensors (SSH, SNMP, WBEM)?
