La sonda remota No, esta funcionalidad no la veo viable como podría realizar digamos una "contingencia" si se me cae el servidor principal para seguir monitoreando los sensores o los servicios que tengo agregados al principal?

Puedo colocar un enlace redundante?

Es que la sonda remota se actualiza desde el principal entonces no me serviria como contingencia

En ese caso, puede usar su PRTG en modo cluster. Lo que le permite usar la misma licencia en dos servidores, uno el Master y otro Failover. Puede obtener mas informacion acerca del cluster en el siguiente enlace https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/6403-what-is-the-clustering-feature-in-prtg
