I have a group with multiple devices in it that I would like to clone and rename all the devices. I have over 200 to do so I would like to try automate it using powershell. Has anyone attempted anything like this?

Hello Simon,

Thank you for your message.

To automate the cloning and renaming operations of your devices, I recommend you to use the PowerShell module called PRTGAPI.

PRTGAPI is a PowerShell module very well documented which provides a lot of functions including cloning and renaming. You will find the module right here: https://github.com/lordmilko/PrtgAPI

Here is the documentation (wiki) which explains what you can do with it: https://github.com/lordmilko/PrtgAPI/wiki

Kind regards.
