Monitoring two sites

Votes:

Hi, in our environment we have two sites. (one in Switzerland, one in Portugal) They are connected with a VPN. Right now I am monitoring both sites from the main server in Switzerland. But especially in question of Lags and Jitter relationated to the Portugal environment I am having inaccurate results.

Is there a possibility to prevent these problems. Would a cluster solve this problem? Thank you for your support.

Best regards, Bernhard

Hi there,

Thank you for your message.

With remote probes, you can monitor different subnetworks that are separated from your PRTG on premises core server by a firewall, and you can keep an eye on remote locations. You can install one or more remote probes without any further costs.

Within the following link you'll find everything you'll need: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/add_remote_probe

Kind regards,
