Votes:

0

Hi,

i've installed PRTG Desktop and connect to the Server with my credentials on Port 443. After i restart my Computer the Desktopapp don't reconnect and if i check the credentials, i see they are not the same like i entered.

The new credentials are the default prtgadmin credentials with Port 80. If i change them i can login again until i restart.

best regards

Nico

Hello,

i fixed the Problem, there was a ".db-journal" File that rewrite the .db File everytime. I deleted the ".db-journal" file and now it works fine for me.

Hello,

could it be the case that your AppData\Roaming folder gets cleared with every start? This would also remove the Desktop Client configuration.

Hello,

please check if the file "prtgdesktop.db" exists in ...AppData\Roaming\Paessler\PRTG Desktop\data

(The first part of the folder of course depends on the Windows user you are logged in.)

It appears like on your computer that file gets removed or reset with the restart.
