Hello there,

im trying to send emails as a notification to adresses, that contain special characters like äöü. Those special characters get changed to '?', so the email does not reach its target. How do i change the adress, so those characters get used as intended?

äöü email encoding notifications special-characters

Hello Alexander,

You can't change this behavior nor is it something that I would really recommend from an technical perspective. We are aware that some domains might support umlauts but others don't necessarily do that. Often domain still rely on ASCII character sets where umlauts are not part of it.

Please use 'ae' instead of 'ä'.

Best,
Sebastian
