I have a HTTP Advanced sensor that is down although the string I specified in the "Response must include" field definitely exists on the webpage.

Did you enter the URL with an anchor like www.mywebsite.mytld/mypage.htm#myanchor?

This is known to confuse PRTG in some cases, but as it's absolutely unnecessary for the function of the HTTP Advanced sensor, you can just omit the anchor.

www.mywebsite.mytld/mypage.htm should work.
