Changing the Ping sensor to be the Master Sensor

I have a couple thousand ping sensors, and I did not realize that I had to set the Master Sensor setting before creating a template. I tried selecting all the ping sensors to make the change, but the option to select the Master Sensor is not available. Is there any way of updating this setting on all of my Ping sensors? Maybe via API? I don't see a way of doing it within PRTG.

Unfortunately this setting can neither be changed via multi-edit nor via the API.
