Ping über verschiedene Routen?

Hallo,

Zu einer redundant angebundenen Colocation möchte ich die Verfügbarkeit der Leitungen monitoren. Es gibt eine Primärverbindung (MPLS) und eine Sekundärverbindung (IPsec).

Mein Problem, an das ich stoße ist, dass sowohl für die Überwachung der Hauptleitung als auch der Sekundärleitung die MPLS Leitung genutzt wird.

Gibt es einen Weg, den Ping gezielt durch die Backupleitung zu schicken, sodass ich 2 verschiedene Ergebnisse erhalte?

Hallo Sönke,

Standardmäßig gibt es hierfür innerhalb PRTG keine Möglichkeit. PRTG verwendet lediglich die Windows-API, um Pings zu senden (ähnlich wie über die CMD). Hierfür wird als Source-IP die IP verwendet, die im Admin-Tool unter "Probe Settings for Monitoring" konfiguriert ist.
