Already stated five years ago here : https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/62935-vmware-esx-and-standby-mode Since vcenter shows accurately host in "standby", could PRTG sensor read this state somewhere ?

Bonus : could this state allow me to set a dependency on another device (idrac disk sensor) to prevent an alert on this same server (but another device...)

idrac prtg vmware

Hello, I'm afraid there's no native sensor or workaround for this specific use case
