What's the best approach to add groups to regions? For instance I have a number of responsible groups (people) each representative in multiple groups (regions). How do I go about adding these same people groups (For notifications) into different regions without having to reconfigure each group separately?

Example: Orlando Group (subnet x.x.x.x) GoupA, GroupB, GroupC -- Groups for notification within the Orlando Group. Boston Group (subnet x.x.x.x) GroupA, GroupB, GroupC --Groups for notification within the Boston Group.

How do i replicate each group without having to recreate individual groups and notification settings for each notification group within each region group?

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Regarding your question, in PRTG you have the possibility to clone groups and therefore keep the notification triggers defined. If you have many groups to clone, then I invite you to use the API of PRTG to automate that task.

Please, have a look to our manual to see how to duplicate objects: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/object_manipulation#duplicating_clone

Regards.
