How to select a sensor of its own device in dependancy setting.

Votes:

When a device was added with auto-discovery, the dependency was automatically set to its own ping sensor.

However, in the case of manually adding a ping sensor, I can't select the ping sensor in dependency option.

Can't I select the sensors of its own device?

Hello Jonathan,

Thanks for your KB post. I am not sure if I understand your question correctly.

Select a sensor as a dependency for a device is possible even it's not created with Auto-discovery. You just need to enable 'Schedules, Dependencies, and Maintenance Window' under device settings to set it.
