don't have log in a sensor

hi there; i have a downtime in an interface and we have relevant log in prtg log tab but we havent any log in log tab of this sensor! explain the reason for this please. thank you and best regard

Hello,

the Log tab shows recent status changes. The purge limit can be set independent of the historic data purge. Both (and other) purge limits can be set via Setup | System Administration | Core & Probes, section "Historic Data Purging".

By default, historic data is purged after 365 days, logs after 30 days.

but purge limits in my panell is set similar the default setting! the historic data is purged after 365 days and logs after 30 days.

Hello,

in that case, the oldest log entries for that object were older than 30 days, or someone removed the files for the logs.

The default location for that files is "C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Log Database".
