Hi,
I'm trying to seperate my PRTG database/ maps and all logging/ reporting data from the installation directory. This has been previously installed by a contractor into the default directory (C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\). I would like to leave the server installation and associated files in that location but move all user/ system generated data onto a seperate drive. I have checked and cant find an up to date article and its not at all obvious which folders perform which function.

Hi there,
We do have an article about how and where PRTG stores its data. You will find it here.
In addition I would recommend to take a look here about how to change the data directory.

Kind regards
