Cisco IP SLA sensor with only AVG RTT channel

Votes:

Hi, I've tried several different IP SLA probles on Cisco switch (icmp-echo, icmp-jitter, tcp-connect), however every time I add this IP SLA as a sensor to PRTG I only see AVG RTT channel and no other. From the listed at least icmp-jitter should support packet loss channel.

What is the trick to add more channels? I'm especially interested in packet loss.

Is this solely IP SLA sensor config issue or something needs to be adjusted in PRTG as well? Some example of IP SLA config which can show packet loss would be helpful.

This is my config:

ip sla 666
 icmp-jitter X.X.X.X
 tos 192
 frequency 10
ip sla schedule 666 life forever start-time now

I found this documentation helpful, but still can't get it working. https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/cisco_ip_sla_sensor

Thanks, Pavel

Could you please use the SNMP Tester and perform a "Walk" against the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1 Save the text file and forward it to [email protected] by referring to this KB post. Thanks!
