Cloud ping v2 not working across proxy

in front of deleting/deactivating the deprecated Cloud Ping V1 sensor we set up another Cloud Ping V2 sensor beside the v1 sensor. In this case he have to inherit the same proxy settings which are configured in the parent group for getting http-access into the internet. We are running PRTG version and the old sensor is working fine.

The new one next to the old one is getting errors. The sensor log (for troubleshooting) is showing that the connection is being rejected.

Here is an extract from the sensor-log:

ConnectFailReason: Connection rejected

A few possible causes for a connection being rejected are:

        - A firewall (software or hardware), such as Windows Firewall, is blocking the connection .

        - Nothing is listening at the remote host:port

Any ideas?

Hello Christian,

as of now, the Cloud v2 sensors don't use the proxy settings. This will be added with a later release. Until then, the v1 Cloud sensors are kept in PRTG.
