Registry Monitoring Issue

Hi There,

I understand that the abiity to monitor registry entries is no longer part of the core PRTG system but it is still possible via EXE/Script and Paessler also provide a PowerShell script (if not officially supported anymore)

I am using the script currently and cannot seem to get it to monitor ready or monitor any regkeys outside of HKLM tree, I am trying to get values from CurrentUser or Users but it always seems to return "Registry key not set" as mentioned anything in HKLM I can query and get results from.

I have the scripts on nodes and have enabled remote PowerShell, as mentioned HKLM is working, it's just getting info from CurrentUser that seems to be an issue.

I have had a look at the PowerShell script but it's a bit out of my knowledge scope and was wondering why this might be happening.

Thanks. Edd

Hi,

We cannot help you to solve the issue with your script as we don't offer support for custom scripts.

Kind regards,
