How to export syslog messages into files ?

I'm using a syslog sensor. On 'Mesages' tab of the syslog sensor, how do I extract or export the entire contents collected into a file?

And only up to 1000 times are displayed on that tab?

To check the original raw data of the syslog Can I open *.evl files with the extension *.evl in the path below? C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Syslog Database

data-extractor export syslog syslog-sensor

Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for your message.

Regarding the syslog messages, I'm afraid that it is not possible to export them via PRTG yet. Here is a KB article on this matter which also proposes workarounds for it: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/59970-export-syslog

Then, for the limited number of results that can be displayed, this is to reduce the impact on the webserver.

If you have questions, let us know.

Regards.
