I want to pause all devices in the group if the ping of firewall goes down that's within the group

So we have setup groups by site and I want to pause all devices in the group if the ping of firewall goes down. The firewall is within the same group. When I try to setup by the group I am unable to select that device

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Regarding what you would like to achieve, I'm afraid that it is effectively not possible to configure a group to be dependent on an object that belongs to it. Otherwise, you would not get the sensor working again, due to all sensors begin suspended including the one monitoring the firewall.

Therefore, I invite you to move the firewall (device) outside of the group or duplicate it outside of it. Then, you should be able to make the group dependent on it.
