Possibility to only show a certain type of status icons on a map

Votes:

Hello Paessler,

is it possible to only show show a certain type of status icons eg. the checkmarks, exclamation marks, pause symbol(...) on a map?

It would give us the opportunity to extend our current map. We are running out of space on it because all those icons take up lots of space and we don't need the map to show us everything that is already "Okay" or "unusual".

Looking forward to your response.

Hello Leon,

Do I understand you correctly, that you want only the state icon displayed without the sensor name and value?
If that is the case, you can use the map object "Status only (transparent background)" from the "Status Icons" group.

Hello,

no that is not it. I just want to select whether or not it shows the warnings, pauses, checkmarks etc. My goal is to select only certain status icons, not all of them at once because the map just gets cluttered with status icons overlapping with eachother.

So I want to have a Server symbol + its name but then below/next to it only warnings and pauses. Having the system tell me everything is alright by showing the checkmarks for example just takes away space on the map.

Hi Leon,

I understand that you want to show only certain sensor states for a device, however I am not sure what information you want to show.
Do you just want to have a number of sensors that are in Down, Warning and Paused state (for that device)?
Or do you want to have a list of sensors in these states?

Perhaps one of the objects from the "Data Tables" group will suit your needs.
