change or replace Sensor type after your Update

Hi

sadly, you change frequently the Sensor type after an Update and our current sensors are not working anymore. Is there a way to change\replace the Sensor type easily from the old to the new Version without re-create all Sensors and\or loosing the History data?

e.g. "paessler.microsoftazure.virtual_machine_sensor.20", since the last Update to 21.3.71.1416+ all our Azure VMs sensor doesn't work any more and I have to create them new.

The Sensor status were "unknown" and there were none objectproperties for these sensors.

but you mostly change\update some sensors during an update, so the question was more common, how we can change the sensor type easily when you change the type to another version?

Usually sensors stop working with PRTG updates when some sensor types are deprecated, but normally it is not needed to change the sensor type after PRTG update.

Could you please send us an email to [email protected], so that we can have a look at your log files, to check what happened in this very case?
