output of api/table.json?content=messages contains datetime, is it in GMT/UTC? filter_dstart

I am using api/table.json?content=messages to get the output. the response payload contains api/table.json, is it in GMT/UTC? What will be the timezone of the datetime that is getting returned?

If I want to pass filter_dstart param to api/table.json, do we need to send datetime in utc for that filter_dstart param?

Can you please give details on this.

api-table-json filter-dstart prtg timezone

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

The API returns the datetime according to the time zone configured in the settings of your account, under Setup > Account Settings > My account > PRTG Web Interface | *Time Zone*. Here is the corresponding manual if needed: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/my_account_settings

Therefore, for the filter "filter_dstart" you can use the same time as in your time zone. PRTG take it into account and return the corresponding results.

If you have questions, do not hesitate.

Regards.
