Minimizing False positives on Altaro Backup Monitoring.

Hi, we monitor a few instances of Altaro VM Backup. There is a great custom script to monitor if a backup has taken place via the eventlog. This works great, but we have one instance where there is continous data protection. Because of that the sensor sometimes gives wrong feedback and the sensor goes in the error state. This is periodically and after another scan the sensor is right again. Is there a way to suppress short errors? I have tried the option to put it in the warning state for 5 cycles, but this changes nothing. Would be great if someone has an idea, because it's not that great to see an error pop up every few minutes. Kind Regards, Marco Riechen

Hi Marco,

Thank you for your post.

If the "Set sensor to warning fow x interval" option does not work here, then there is nothing else you can do from PRTG's side in order to avoid the error.
