How to monitor a specific network interface for ping/http resolve time

Votes:

0

I've been using PRTG to monitor the LAN ping times and WAN http response times on one of my many networks. I have multiuple connections and when I enable other interfaces, the PRTG monitor defaults to these networks, which I am not trying to monitor.

Is there any way to configure the software so that I am only monitoring a these parameters on a speicific network interface/card?

Hello,

Yes, if you open the PRTG Administration Tool on the PRTG server, click on Probe Settings for Monitoring, there you can choose the interface by which PRTG will source the monitoring requests.
