Is it possible to implement multi-edit sensors for the dependency setting? Especially to make the sensors master for their device (for example to make all the ping sensors master for their respective device).

Hello robine,
multi-edit for dependencies would come with issues like it would be very easy to accidentally break something, and that one of the objects would lead to a dependency circle, so that after pausing, it would never resume on its own.
In the long run, we work on a new API which allows to edit settings. This would allow custom scripts to change the dependency settings (and to validate them).
