Run Custom Notification on Sub-Probe

Votes:

0

I have a HTTP action on a custom notification that runs a php webpage that reboots the webserver.

Issue I have is it appears notifications are run on the main probe. But the main probe cant see my webserver. So can I run the custom notification on the probe that is located on the internal LAN.

Has anyone done this before?

Hi there,

Notifications are always executed on the Core Server. The only workaround would be to create a script which run the HTTP action with a invoke command on a machine were the webserver is reachable and which is executed with your notification.

Kind regards
