Problem using PRTG Certificate Importer

Votes:

I'm attempting to use the PRTG Certificate Importer and the program is telling me the passphrase is wrong. However, when I use the native Windows certificate import tool for the .pfx file there are no problems with the passphase. Anyone know why the PRTG Certificate Importer would be having trouble with recognizing the correct passphase for the .pfx file?

Can you try to add the certificate to the windows certificate store in the PRTG server and then run the certificate importer again?

Thank for the suggestion, this worked! The directions from https://www.paessler.com/tools/certificateimporter don't state that step clearly. They provide a few different options, and I figured if I provided the folder path where the .pfx file was, that would be good enough. Once I imported the certificate into the Computer Personal Store, then the importer worked as expected.
