Creating an alert that is a webhook consumer

Votes:

0

I am attempting to create an alert that would consume an azure webhook that sends out test results and I would like to alert based off the webhooks sent value. I have been unable to find an alert that would work for this.

  1. Is there an alert type that would work to consume an incoming webhook?
  2. How would I alert off the value the webhook sends?

alert prtg webhook

Hi there,

Thank you for the post. If you want to trigger an alert from PRTG, you first need to create a Sensor which monitors the required value. Did you already add a Sensor?

If I understand you correctly than PRTG receives data via HTTP triggered by another instance? In this case, I would recommend to use the HTTP Push Data Advanced Sensor: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/http_push_data_advanced_sensor
