Remote Probe traffic and security

I want to install a remote probe at a customer site, and connect this over the internet to our PRTG server. The customer is asking what kind of traffic will be sent and want to know if it is secure enough. I can restrict this in the firewalls to only the public ips and port 23560, but more info is better. We are situated in The Netherlands and the latest AVG legislation is pretty strict about sending person related information over unsecure connections.

Is there a guideline somewere about this that I can use and send to the customer?

After a lot of searching, I think I found the answer that the connection is secured using TLS1.2 so this ticket can be closed
