95 Percentile on Sensor Factory

Votes:

0

Hello Dear Support Team,
As we know, when we have two snmp traffic sensors and a aggregation sensor (sensor factory) composed of them, the speed of aggregation sensor is calculated as sum of the speed of its source channels.
But in historic data, the sum of the 95 percentile of two snmp traffic sensors is not equal to the 95 percentile of aggregation sensor (sensor factory).
So if we want to calculate the sum of two 95 percentile of two traffic sensors without creating a aggregation sensor, how can we do that?
Thanks a lot

Hello,

the factory sensor can only aggregate direct sensor channel data. The percentile computation is an option to be calculated at creating an historic data table. It is not possible to use that data for the factory as it is generated on the fly for the reports and not stored in the sensor database.

The only option here would be to export the historic data tables als CSV or XML, and have another tool using this input for further computation.
