PRTG CPU Sensor not changed after VM resizing.

We had a PRTG Sensor for CPU. The original VM had 16 CPU on the box. At some point in time -> we decided to scale it down to 8 CPU only.

The change was done. However the PRTG Sensor still shows 16 CPUs in its configuration.

Every time there is an alert on this box for the CPU: it is triggered and it shows CPUs 1-8 at above the threadhold but for the CPUs 9-16 -> it shows the value of 0%.

Below is the example.

Is there any way for the PRTG automatically to reconfigure this sensor to detect the change in the CPUs?

Example of the alert:

Channel	Last Value
Downtime
Processor 1	99 %
Processor 10	0 %
Processor 11	0 %
Processor 12	0 %
Processor 13	0 %
Processor 14	0 %
Processor 15	0 %
Processor 16	0 %
Processor 2	99 %
Processor 3	99 %
Processor 4	99 %
Processor 5	99 %
Processor 6	99 %
Processor 7	99 %
Processor 8	99 %
Processor 9	0 %
Total	99 %

Hello Aleksey,

Hope all is good.

To answer your question, PRTG natively will not be able to detect these changes to remove the other CPUs. You will need to manually recreate the sensor and this should show the updated information.
