User Permission Monitoring

We have a service account that is being used for DFS and the account needs to have certain permissions applied to it. We've noticed that if the DFS server is rebooted then the service account loses the permissions it needs for one of our applications and causes issues for our users. The problem is resolved once we add the permissions back to the account. Any recommendations on if it would be possible to set up monitoring and alerting for if an account doesn't have a certain set of permissions assigned to it?

Hi there,

The access rights are defined by the target OS, if these are missing due to a restart, there is not really much PRTG could do here to bypass these permissions.

I'd personally recommend to see why the permissions are gone after a restart to have a solid solution in place.

Kind regards,
