How to upgrade version 7 to version 8?

Hi,

I would like to do some tests with version 8, that´s why I would like to know how to upgrade my version 7 instalation to version 8? I am useing a trial (30 days) key.

Hello,

that would be simply by downloading PRTG 8 and installing it on top of your existing PRTG 7 installation.

When doing this upgrade, I lost all my 600+ sensors and the associated data. PRTG only shows the default local probe device.

All I did was run the .exe on top of the old v7 version. How can I get all my sensors back?
