SNMP Printer, Change toner display to percent

Votes:

0

I use the SNMP printer sensor to monitor the status of a printer. How can I change the toner percentage displayed? Currently it shows with "Not Empty" At a threshold of 10% it should send a notification that the toner is about to run out. And after the threshold has reached 100% again that the toner has been replaced.

Hello TechnikOnkel,

Thank you for the post, could confirm which Sensor Type you're working with? You can see the name on the right pane of the Sensor's Overview Page, also which printer are you working with?

Then to configure limits typically you could click on the sensor and then on the percentage graphic, which will open the https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/sensor_channels_settings channel settings, after this you could change the notification based on limits section and the lower Error limit could be set to 10%
