How can I add custom text fields to a device? In the example, an inventory number is to be added to a switch or the date of purchase or the supplier of the device or a telephone number etc.

Hello TechnikOnkel,
There is a "Comment" (Kommentar) tab on each object. Here you can enter the free text of your choice. Is that what you're looking for?
