PRTG Core stops receiving external data

We've got a trial/free version of PRTG running while we try to figure out if it's the right tool for us longer term - and we're running into a situation where after the host VM is running for a few days, PRTG stops receiving data from 2 different remote probes and a number of HTTP Advanced sensors - though local probe information still feeds in just fine.

The host VM is running in Azure, and there's nothing immediately apparent in the VM's own logs, no network changes, no NSG or VNet changes on the Azure side either.

Restarting the VM will bring everything back to normal - so it's not screaming a configuration fault to me.

Typically it doesn't start to misbehave until the host has been running for a few days (3+ typically) - we did experiment for a while with daily restarts and never saw an instance of disconnected remote sources.

As it's multiple remote probes combined with the HTTP Advanced sensors, it doesn't seem to be an external issue and I'm not sure where to go next with diagnostics/troubleshooting.

Any suggestions/steering welcomed.

Hello Rob,

in such cases please open a support case with our support team using the "Contact Support" Button, on the bottom right of the PRTG Webinterface, and make sure to attach a support bundle so we can troubleshoot the cause of this issues.
