How can i monitor a Swich Port and get an Alarm when the Port is UP / Connected?

I would like to monitor a Switch Port and get an Alarm when something is connected to the port.

Hi,

Perhaps you can add an SNMP Traffic sensor. Then add the switch port of interest.

On the sensor settings, set "Connection Status Handling" to "Show down status for all disconnected states".

On your Notification Triggers, Add State Trigger with this condition:

When sensor state is Up for at least x seconds, perform <select notification/email template>

Hope this achieves what you want :)
