Can PRTG Remote Probes be configured to *listen*?

Votes:

0

I have a use case where I would prefer not to open inbound ports to my main PRTG server, however, outgoing to a remote site would work great.

Is it possible to configure PRTG Remote Probes to listen for incoming connections from the PRTG server vs. initiating connections to the PRTG server?

Thank you, Bill

Hi Bill,

That's not possible I'm afraid, the connections are always initiated by the Remote Probe. Even if you create a concept to push data to PRTG, it will start on the Remote Probe end.
