Customise window sensor in view L?

Hello,

I would have liked to know if it is possible to display the text received by the oid instead of the time of the request? on view L? for example serial number of product?

Hi, thanks for your question. You could potentially do this with the SNMP Custom String Sensor. You could have the sensor search for a string - the manual for this sensor is quite extensive with the options available. You can have a look at it here.

Hi Mike,

Thanks, for your reply but i cannot found the good option to do this one : I have my text ok in oid but i cannot show in the firts page prtg. (Time of last request example 3ms)

i cannot add image to this topic for the comprehension.

Hi Julien.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible at this present time. As a workaround, you could try and modify the Extended Processing section in the SNMP Custom String sensor. In the Numeric Value Extraction setting, change the default to Use a regular expression for extraction, and use this as the primary value.
